Jenna Firshein is the Editor-in-Chief and writer of Growing in Jersey City.  Jenna has lived in Jersey City for more than 10 years being active in her local neighborhood association, condo association, and most recently trekking around the city to support all the amazing organizations in Jersey City.  She is a tea drinker, dedicated napper, book reader, and the best aunt in the world.

Jessica Ponchak, Editor of Growing in Jersey City. She is a New Jersey native and loves visiting Jersey City whenever she can. The Lighthorse Tavern is one of her favorite restaurants eating the delicious food and having a nice glass of wine! Jessica is an amazing mother to two wonderful children and is excited to contribute to this amazing blog!

Megan Levy, Managing Events Editor. She a long time Hobokenite who loves everything about Mile Square City and Jersey City. She works for Wellness Amplified where she helps clients strategically develop and execute campaigns with influencers. In Megan's free time she enjoys hitting up local fitness studios, writing, and exploring local neighborhoods on her @EyeSpyNJ account. Her writing has been featured in Create & Cultivate, Social Media Week, Social Media Today, and Brides.

107 Bowers Gallery & Art Space is owned by wife and husband duo Kristin DeAngelis and Matt Schmidt.  Their mission is is to be a hub of creative endeavors embracing the creative journey, encouraging participation in the arts through advocacy, education and outreach.  Through the artist interviews, they hopes to share the work of the artists they are showing and bring attention to the amazing artists in our local Jersey City Community.

Caroline Gourri is an amateur photographer, keen runner, and lover of Dachshunds. You’ll often find her often enjoying a stroll around the Paulus Hook area of Jersey City - taking photos of her vibrant, diverse, and beautiful neighborhood with her iphone. Originally from the UK, she moved from London to Jersey City with her husband in January 2016. Check her out on Instagram

Erin A. DeLaney started taking pictures with her grandfatherʼs 1930s rangefinder 35mm camera in high school.  She then went on to study photography at Syracuse Universityʼs Newhouse School of Public Communication. After graduation, she moved to New York City working in commercial photo labs before starting to freelance as a photographer and digital artist.  She moved to Jersey City Heights in 1999. She began exhibiting her photography in Jersey City in 2014 and 2015 in several group art shows.  She also had a solo photo show “Urban Oasis: Photography in the Jersey City Reservoir” displayed at Jersey City City Hall in May, 2016. John T. Trigonis is a widely published poet, as well as a writer, independent filmmaker, author of the book on Crowdfunding for Filmmakers, and co-creator of his own comic book Siren's Calling. He's been raised right on coffee, comics, and red wine, has an affinity for vintage fedoras, and also handles outreach & distribution for Jersey City's own EIGHTY Magazine.
